15 Seconds of Darkness (and a Reason to Be Grateful)
Thanks to people like you, we now have almost everything we need to replenish our fuel supplies. If nothing urgent happens in the country, this should last us through the end of the school year. We want to help you picture what you made possible!
Here are our students at dinner…

… here they are during evening library time.

Here Slava preparing to refuel the generator with diesel, with his helper - his son.

When the power goes out, everything shuts off for about 15 seconds. If it's evening, we're plunged into complete darkness, and you can hear the voltage stabilizers beeping: beep, beep, beep, beep. Those 15 seconds are a perfect opportunity to thank God for the huge blessing of having electricity in these difficult times. And then the lights come back on, all the devices start humming again, and life continues.
Warmly,
Word of Life team in Ukraine
